Football Weekly Extra: Bradford and Swansea head to Wembley

An ever-so-slightly bunged up James Richardson has Barry Glendenning, Rafa Honigstein and Jacob Steinberg to give him a Lemsip-style hug and help him come to terms with the ridiculousness of the events over the past week in the Capital One Cup.

First, there was Bradford, becoming the first fourth-tier side to make it to Wembley since, like, ever as they overcame Aston Villa. The Bantam Menace will of course be taking on Chelsea-conquering Swansea in the final next month – though you might have missed that result after all the Eden Hazard's run-in with a ballboy. The shame.

Next, we hear Jonathan Wilson's first missive from South Africa and the Africa Cup of Nations.

And finally, we look forward to what can only be described as an entirely mediocre looking set of fixtures in the FA Cup fourth round.

Jimbo's paper review will be with you on Friday morning, and Monday's podcast will feature the second coming of controversy's Daniel Harris and, possibly, professional contrarian Barney Ronay.
