Football Weekly: City flying high but Carlos Tevez wants out of Manchester

James Richardson's got Barney Ronay, Paolo Bandini and Jonathan Wilson in the pod for today's Football Weekly.

We start with more wild goings-on with Manchester City. In spite of going joint-top of the Premier League by demolishing West Ham, Mario Balotelli threw another strop and Carlos Tevez handed in a transfer request. Will he head to Spain, or he is going to retire from the game and head back to Argentina?

Elsewhere, we discuss Alan Pardew's winning start at Newcastle United, and wonder why Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle insists on wearing shorts: hasn't he heard of a snood?

Abroad, we get an update on Tony Adams in Azerbaijan, and ask why on earth Kenny Miller is on Milan's list of transfer targets.

Finally, Sid Lowe argues his corner about Barcelona being the greatest club side of all time (in spite of their sponsorship deal with the nice charitable folks of Qatar).

We're back on Thursday - in the meantime, post your feedback on the blog below, and keep up to date with us on Twitter and with the Fiver.
