Football Weekly: Balotelli sees red but City cling on thanks to Hart

James Richardson has Paul MacInnes, Jacob Steinberg and the returning Barry Glendenning in the pod for today's Football Weekly.

We start with the sad news about the death of Gary Speed, about which you can read and see plenty more on our website - and actually, if you're going to listen to one edition of 606, Robbie Savage was extremely moving about his good friend on Sunday night's show.

From there, it's back to our usual mix of puns and punditry, focusing on Manchester City's draw with Liverpool at Anfield, more controversial refereeing in the United-Newcastle game, and the continuation of Tottenham's wining streak.

Plus, we hear from Sid Lowe in Spain about Real Madrid's insurmountable 6-point lead in La Liga - and why he thinks Barcelona will end the season without any silverware at all.

Finally, we look forward to the Carling Cup quarter finals - especially the ones not involving Blackburn and Cardiff – and, because we're in that sort of mood, we show a little bit of love to the Europa League.

Have a listen and let us know what you think on the blog below.
