Football Weekly: apologies from Anfield, plus glory at last for Zambia

Max Rushden is in the presenter's chair for this edition of Football Weekly, and he has Sean Ingle, Barry Glendenning and Fernando Duarte for company. And don't worry, he's left his tales of the D-list celeb high life in the Soccer AM green room. Well, mostly.

We start by looking back on the unseemly business at Old Trafford. At last, and under duress, Luis Suárez and Kenny Dalglish have issued apologies - but is it too little, too late?

Next up, we wonder who'll take over from Mick McCarthy after he was sacked by Wolves.

Plus, Sid Lowe tells why Real Madrid have La Liga well and truly wrapped up after opening up a 10-point lead over Barcelona, while Jonathan Wilson gives us his final report from the Africa Cup of Nations, where Zambia emerged victorious in the most emotional sporting event he has ever covered.

Finally, ahead of Arsenal's trip to San Siro to face Milan in the Champions League, we discuss the reports that Aaron Ramsey may be indirectly responsible for the death of Whitney Houston.

Oh, and there's a bit of singing.

Let us know what you think on the blog below, and if have questions for James Horncastle, he'll be along on Thursday.
