Football transfer rumours: Bojan Krkic to Liverpool, Chelsea or Manchester United?

It’s all over the news. Something that was incredibly good back in the day, stunningly exciting when first introduced to the world and garnered a huge army of fans but then fell on hard times and had a couple of dodgy outings, so much so that expectations were suitably dimmed this time around. All reports suggest, though, that its now back to its best and looking good to reclaim those former glories.

What Awakens? No, no, the Mill was talking about Bojan Krkic, who is feeling the force once more at Stoke City. His renaissance at the Britannia unsurprisingly has the big boys all aflutter. Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are closing in on the 25-year-old like TIE fighters on an X-Wing.

In reports from Germany about as believable as Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan Kenobi, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid’s summer moves for Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski are about to be gazumped by Manchester United.

Make a January move for Schalke’s Joel Matip, Liverpool will.

You could almost picture people called Granit Xhaka and Bartomej Dragowski hanging out in Chalmun’s Catina on Tatooine but they are, of course, names on Arsenal’s winter shopping list. The Gunners are keeping their eyes on Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Xhaka, but they face competition from Bayern Munich, and they’re also keen on Jagiellonia Bialystok goalkeeper Dragowski, because they’ve had such positive experiences with Polish goalkeepers in the past.

Eddie Howe wants to freeze Callum McManaman in carbonite and take him down to Bournemouth. West Brom want £3m for the midfielder.
