Over in Italy where Tuesday's other Champions League match is taking place, Fiorentina play host to Bayern Munich with the German side leading 2-1 from the first leg. Here Bayern's Franck Ribéry turns Lorenzo De Silvestri as he forages forward in an attempt to increase their lead

Four minutes after Van Bommel squared things up, Jovetic gets his second goal of the night to put Fiorentina's noses in front again when he pokes the ball home after an excellent Gilardino nod-down

Just one minute later Arjen Robben swings the tie back in Bayern's favour when he finds himself with the ball 35 yards out and Fiorentina's defenders standing off him, so he cuts inside and rifles a shot past Frey into the top left-hand corner

Despite some sustained Fiorentina pressure in the last 26 minutes, Bayern Munich manage to hold out to go through to the quarter-finals on away goals with the aggregate score at 4-4

Darren Bent slams home his first and Sunderland's second goal to make it 2-0 in the 64th minute. He added a second 10 minutes later when following a shove by Sam Ricketts, which earned the Bolton defender a second yellow and then a red, he got up and slotted home the resulting spot-kick. With two minutes remaining, he scored his 19th goal of the season and completed his hat-trick when he shot through a crowded area after playing a lovely one-two with fellow goalscorer Campbell
