England went out to Italy on penalties, with Ashley Young and Ashley Cole missing in the shootout., 10:B - Beasant became the first goalkeeper to save a penalty in the FA Cup final at Wembley. Aldridge had never missed a penalty for Liverpool. He was substituted shortly afterwards and Liverpool lost 1–0.
