Football match in memory of Glaswegian musician to take place tomorrow

A football match, organised in memory of a Scots rock legend who tragically passed away last year, is to take place tomorrow.

The legends match will be dedicated to Shaun Scott, guitarist and vocalist for the Clydebank band The Ronains, who died on August 19 last year.

The event will take place at Toryglen Football Centre from 12pm, with proceeds going to the Shine on Shaun charity, created in Shaun's memory, and mental health foundation The Kris Boyd Charity.

It will feature the likes of former Celtic players Frank McAvennie and Darren Jackson as well as former Rangers stars Lee McCulloch and Andy Goram.

The event promises to be a family fun day as well as giving attendees the opportunity to meet their heroes.

Tickets for the match are priced at £10 for adults, while under 16s can go free.
