Football Manager 2020 release date announced

The new season may be well underway but fans of the Football Manager franchise have had to patiently await the latest release of the popular management game.

Pre-orders have been open for a while and it was previously announced that Football Manager 2020 would be released in November - and now a precise date has been revealed by Sports Interactive.

Football Manager 2020 will be released on November 19th on Steam, with release dates for the Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia yet to be confirmed.

The touch edition of the game, available on Steam, iOS and Android, will be released on the same day, while the mobile edition, available on iOS and Android, is also released on November 19th. Steam editions of the game will be available for both PC and Mac.

New features for the 2020 edition include a development centre, allowing for greater management of a club’s youth ranks and a club vision, which presents the opportunity to plot a course for your club over numerous seasons.

Improvements have also been made to the graphics and the backroom staff, while there is also the ability to build a pathway into the first-team for fringe players with specific promises in a player’s contract.

Further customisation options have also been revealed, with plenty to get dug into when the game releases in just over a month’s time.
