Football League transfer deadline news

One of the biggest deals so far on deadline day involves a Championship club, with Reading selling the Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson to Bundesliga side Hoffenheim for a reported £6m. "I am taking a big leap, but its hopefully just one of many leaps," Sigurdsson was quoted as saying by the Bracknell Forest Standard. "I say goodbye to Reading with a lot of sadness and I will miss the club a lot."

Despite news that transfer revenue is significantly down in the Championship this summer, it looks like there will still be a fair bit of movement today, though perhaps not all of the Sigurdsson order. Why, even as I type Leeds have snapped up Honduran World Cup star Ramón Núñez ...

Who would you like to see your club bring in (or ship out)? How do you think Dedryck Boyata might fare on loan at Norwich? Should Plymouth take a chance on League Two superstar Adam Le Fondre? Is Martyn Waghorn the final piece in Leicester's promotion jigsaw? We're following transfer deadline day live but there's plenty of room for rumour, gossip and player sightings here on the Football League blog too.

Be it Championship, League One or League Two, tell us about the day's under-the-radar signings in the comments section below.
