Football fans will notice big changes to Sky Go after major update

Football fans hoping to watch Manchester United and Manchester City battle at the top of the Premier League will notice changes to the Sky Go app.

The Sky Go app allows those with Sky TV subscriptions to watch channels and catch up TV on mobile and tablet devices.

The broadcaster has revealed a new update to its streaming service will go live in the next few weeks and it means some changes for fans who use the app to watch matches.

The includes an entirely new look for the app to make finding sport easier and includes a section to allow you to record upcoming games.

There will also be better navigation for visually impaired fans and voiceovers to allow customers to hear everything they click on.

The new app is free and will be rolled out on iOS, Android, Playstation, Xbox, Amazon Fire devices and Amazon app store as well as on PC and MAC.

Fans who do not have a Sky subscription can still see the latest Premier League games on Sky's sister app, NowTV. A total of five Sky Sports channels are available on NowTV for just £5.99 to view on mobile devices.

The mobile monthly pass gives access to Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Action, Sky Sports Arena, Sky Sports Racing and Sky Sports News.

The pass is available here. A full season pass covering ten months and available for TV and mobile streaming is £199 , over 40% off the usual price.

Upcoming matches on Sky Sports include Manchester City's game against Spurs on Saturday 17 August, Manchester United's visit to Wolves on Monday night and City's away tie against Bournemouth on 25 August.

Other big games in August include Arsenal versus Liverpool and Chelsea against Leicester.
