One football supporter has presented a Barcelona fan with the perfect secret Santa gift - from a Reds perspective.
Liverpool famously came from behind to shock the Spanish giants at Anfield in the semi-finals of last season’s Champions League.
Despite losing the first leg 3-0 at the Camp Nou , Jurgen Klopp's side claimed a famous comeback victory in the second leg after Divock Origi and Gini Wijnaldum both scored braces to seal a 4-0 win for the Reds.
After completing the impossible, Liverpool then went on to beat Tottenham Hotspur in the final in Madrid .
But it was the night at Anfield in May that will live long in the memory of the Reds faithful and now one has reminded a supporter of the Catalan club about a famous tweet from the Spanish giants.
“We score, Liverpool need FIVE - and we’re going to get at least one...agreed? #LFCBarca (1-0, agg 1-3),” a tweet posted at half time from the reigning La Liga champions read.
And now one fan has had the tweet printed onto a t-shirt as a gift to a Barcelona-supporting work colleague in their secret Santa.
Taking to Twitter, the fan wrote: “Got a Barca fan for Secret Santa and I think I did a decent job” - followed by a picture of the t-shirt.
The Reds claimed their sixth European Cup after goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi handed Klopp’s side a 2-0 win at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in June.
