An England fan said he was told the team lost because of "black players" in shocking racial abuse as he left a bar in London after the Euro 2020 final between the Three Lions and Italy.
David Smith, 20, was on the phone with his brother after watching the tense match when he said a woman came up to him and started racially abusing him.
The youth worker told MyLondon : "I was walking to the bus stop and then some woman was like 'What are you saying? England lost because of Rashford'.
“I was like, 'okay yeah, maybe' and then she was like, 'you lost because he’s black'.
“I was like 'what?! You’re racist.' She said: 'You lost because he’s black, England’s like this because of you'."

David said he didn't react and tried to not take it seriously.

A mural in Withington, Manchester, of Rashford was defaced hours after the match. He has been hugely influential during the pandemic for his efforts in tackling child food poverty.
Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham condemned the graffiti and said: "What else can be said other than a despicable, shameful act.

"Just beyond belief actually that someone would do that given what Marcus Rashford has done not just for this city region but for the whole country.
"The joy he has brought to millions of people through his joy, his football but also his commitment to the next generation of our country.
"What person in their right mind would do this is beyond belief and 99.9% of people will be utterly appalled by it and want the strongest action taken."
Yesterday , the vandalism was covered with hundreds of messages of love and support for the Manchester United player.

One powerful message left on the mural read: "I can take or leave football but I cannot take or leave people like you.
"Thank you for your passion, compassion and desire to change lives."
Another said: "Dear Marcus, please know that you are so admired and people find you an inspiration."
Last night, Marcus shared a heartwarming message following the outpour of love from football fans and his community.
He wrote: "I dreamt of days like this. The messages I’ve received today have been positively overwhelming and seeing the response in Withington had me on the verge of tears.
"The communities that always wrapped their arms around me continue to hold me up. I’m Marcus Rashford, 23 year old, black man from Withington and Wythenshawe, South Manchester.
"If I have nothing else I have that. For all the kind messages, thank you. I’ll be back stronger. We’ll be back stronger. MR10."
