Eighteen minutes later Shaun Wright-Phillips puts England ahead as his swerving shot deceives El Hadari, who flaps at the ball as it flies past him into the net. Five minutes later SWP turns provider when he weaves down the right and fires in a cross to Crouch, who is a good yard or so offside, and the lanky striker strokes it into the net. The ref lets the goal stand and Crouch celebrates with a sheepish grin
