Football boss becomes IT operations director

Clark IT has promoted Michael Brown to become operations director.

Brown, who is also a part-time Highland league football manager, has been with Clark IT since 2013.

He has a background in IT service delivery management and will deal with all of Clark’s day to day service delivery to clients, as well as managing improvements and operational strategy.

The firm, based in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, provides cybersecurity, cloud services and IT support to SMEs in a range of sectors.

Managing director Austen Clark said: “As we grow our portfolio, it’s important to have the right people in place and Michael has an extensive skills set and is a great leader of the engineering team, dedicated to the personal development of his team.

“Michael is well respected within the business and his knowledge and skills will bolster our operational capacity.”

Software firm forecasts profits up 20% to £14 million  

Bown is assistant manager of Highland League football club Keith and lives in Newmachar with his wife and two teenage sons.
