Footage has emerged of a well-known local Dublin criminal seemingly attempting to hide from a garda search in a housing estate.
The video captures the moment they emerge from the bushes after they seem to have managed to avoid the garda patrol.
The criminal, who has a number of previous convictions, remains undetected by gardai during the recording.
The garda van can be seen searching the estate, before it turns a corner out of the area.
Although it seems there is nothing going on in the seconds afterward, a bush can be seen rustling.
Then a person emerges from the bushes and they can be seen peeking out and it appears they are checking if the scene is safe.
It is unknown whether they managed to avoid the garda patrol in the moments afterward.
