Drivers in the southside of Dublin were left scratching their heads when they spotted a swan also on a Saturday commute in the busy area.
The animal was waddling along at Ringsend Bridge and was causing absolute havoc as motorists tried their best to get by without smashing into the bird.
Concerned for the safety of the swan, Michael Behan told Dublin Live that he called the DSPCA immediately before taking the video.

He said: "He didn't look injured but rather looked like it was just out having a stroll.
"I rang the RSPCA who said they'd be along shortly. I was on my way to Hospital at the time so I couldn't wait but someone turned up to aid and help the little beauty.
"Traffic was slowly moving around the bird as it rambled but within the hour, I heard the traffic was back to normal."

Commenters on the video were quick to suggest ways to help the swan as it struggled the busy road.
One said: "That situation happened me a few years ago I used an umbrella to guide it down the steps it took a few minutes but it worked."
Another said to approach the animal with caution and try to "hoosh him" off the road.
