Footage shows Celtic supporters shouting down notorious fan group the Green Brigade as they began to chant "You can stick your f***ing poppies up you a***" at Saturday's match with Motherwell.
The self-styled 'ultras' didn't take their seats in protest at the minute's silence for Remembrance Day and while the 60 seconds of contemplation was impeccably observed by those inside the stadium, the fans group made their feelings clearly known during the game.
In footage posted by Youtuber Thogden , fans in the North Curve standing section can be clearly heard starting the chant before it is drowned out by boos from other sections of the stadium.
The group have been a significant source of controversy in recent years.
They were banned in 2017 for a home Champions League clash with Rosenborg and a Premiership match against Hearts after they set off flares and displayed paramilitary banners in the section.
The club have had several charges from UEFA over their conduct with former boss Brendan Rodgers taking the unusual step of publicly criticising them, demanding that they "wake-up".
They released a statement at the time saying: "The Green Brigade has not only survived through the years but we have thrived - we are currently as large and strong as we have ever been.
"We can assure all that we will be back in Celtic Park soon enough and that we will never allow our style nor our politics to ever be diluted."
