Footage shows bats used as weapons in terrifying mass brawl in north Dublin

Baseball bats were used as weapons in a terrifying mass brawl in north Dublin on Thursday evening.

The fight took place in broad daylight outside the Old County Barbers in Ballymun between two rival gangs.

A 30 second video from the scene shows a group of people dragging one person to the ground, Dublin Live reports.

Then, it skips on to another section of the fight where all hell breaks loose and two people, one wearing a black top and another wearing a white top, can be seen swinging baseball bats at each other.

Their individual altercation spills out onto the streets where they continue to trade blows swinging their weapons at each other.

The person in white is then horrifically smashed in the back of the head by a third person also carrying a bat.

He is then sandwiched and targeted by the two men who continue to swing in his direction before he eventually makes an attempt to break away.

As he makes a break for it, he trips and falls and is surrounded again.

At one stage, nine people can be counted who are involved in the brawl.

Last week, two videos emerged just a couple of days apart which showed huge fights breaking out in the street of Dublin.

A bare knuckle fight took place on Grafton Street while on Abbey Street, men attacked each other using crutches in the middle of traffic.
