Foodies are obsessed with Lotus Biscoff Lasagne - and you only need five ingredients

Most of us know Lotus Biscoff biscuits as the sweet treat that accompanies your coffee at a hairdressers.

But now a woman has made the crunchy, caramel biscuits taste even more delicious than they already are - although we didn't think that was even possible - by creating a Lotus Biscoff lasagne.

Yes... a lasagne made from Biscoff biscuits - and no pasta in sight.

Food blogger Walla Abu-Eid shared pictures of the delicious looking dessert to her Instagram and everyone is going crazy for it.

The post received nearly 40,000 views and we can see why - the Biscoff lasagne, which is layered with Biscoff biscuits, cream and Lotus spread is incredibly easy to make and only requires five ingredients.

Walla made the lasagne for the first time live on Instagram - and her followers loved it (Instagram)

Although the dish looked totally professional, Walla revealed that the first time she had made it was live on Instagram TV and said it turned out better than she expected.

She also suggests dipping it in milk or coffee for the ultimate afternoon treat.

Fancy giving it a go? Follow her easy step-by-step recipe below.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 packets Biscoff biscuits - depending on the size of your tray.
  • 600ml thickened cream.
  • Dash of vanilla.
  • 1 tbsp sugar.
  • Half a jar Biscoff spread.

Method

1. Pop your cream, sugar and vanilla into a bowl and whip it until it forms soft peaks.

2. Blitz your Biscoff spread in the microwave until melted.

3. In a tray add a layer of Biscoff biscuits, and then place a layer of cream over the top, and drizzle generously with Biscoff spread.

4. Repeat these steps until you have the number of layers you desire and top the final layer with cream.

5. To a piping bag add some of your Biscoff spread and carefully pipe lines on top of the cream in any pattern you wish - but if you want to recreate ..... use a skewer to create lines.

6. Put in the fridge for six hours or overnight, then serve.
