Aagrah Foods is recalling jars of their Aagrah Tarka Handi Sauce which comes in a 270g size.

The product, which originated from the UK, is being pulled from supermarket shelves and point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batches.

Meanwhile, a batch of doughnuts from a popular confectionery store have been recalled over allergy fears.

The Boston Donuts are being recalled as a number of ingredients have been left undeclared on the box which could be potentially dangerous for consumers.

A statement issued by the Food Safety Authority reads: "Boston Confectionery Ltd. is recalling the above batch of Boston Donuts Premium Box as it contains wheat, milk, eggs, nuts, soya and sulphur dioxide, which are undeclared on the label.

"This may make the implicated batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of cereals containing gluten (wheat), milk, egg, nuts, soya and sulphur dioxide or their constituents."

The product in question is the Boston Donuts Premium Box (6 box); batch number: BD230820; production date: 23/08/2020.
