INDORE: Atleast half a dozen food processing and dehydration units have proposed to invest around Rs55 crore in Dalpura village in Sardarpur tehsil of Dhar district. These units have collectively proposed to give employment to around 400 people. The District Industries and Trade Centre, has received proposals from industries looking to set up food-related facilities in Dalpura, an undeveloped industrial area spread across 9 hectares.
Sunil Tripathi, general manager, District Industries and Trade Centre, Dhar, said, “With a focus to give a platform to local industries, many new industrial areas have been identified in Dhar because of its proximity from Pithampur makes it an ideal place for industries and allied units to set up factories.”
