Liverpool is a city known for offering those who live here and tourists many options when it comes to things to do, but this weekend we were spoilt for choice.
It was a tale of two food and drink festivals with both the Royal Albert Dock and Wirral hosting stalls, live cooking demonstrations and more for the first time ever.
Both festivals took place across Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile the annual Southport Air Show was also underway at the beachfront. The event kicked off on Friday, September 6 and offered up displays throughout the weekend.
And of course, a little further afield in Sherdley Park in St Helens Reminisce Festival took place on Saturday, September 7. The self-titled 'old skool event' had headliners such as Vengaboys, Whigfield and Ian Van Dahl.
So it's safe to say it was a very busy weekend across many parts of Merseyside.
