Food lovers rejoice! Uber Eats expands delivery service to Beeston

Uber Eats has expanded its delivery service to Beeston and Chilwell.

Starting from Thursday, July 16, hungry residents will be able to use the Uber Eats mobile app to order their next meal straight to their door.

Customers will also be able to order from KFC, which is the first restaurant to launch in the area via the Uber Eats app.

The courier can then be tracked via the app to see where and what time your delivery from your favourite restaurant is due.

Uber says the expansion of its delivery service, which is currently available in Nottingham city centre, will help more businesses access new customers.

Toussaint Wattinne, general manager of Uber Eats in the UK, said: “We are really excited to be launching in Chilwell and Beeston, firstly with KFC, and a host of local restaurants joining in the coming weeks.

"As the nation’s lockdown slowly begins to lift, we hope to make it even easier for local residents to enjoy a variety of delicious food both comfortably and safely."

Uber Eats says it has introduced measures to ensure every courier can access the PPE they need for free to help keep them safe when they deliver with Uber Eats.

As well as providing free sanitising products, Uber Eats is providing couriers with over one million masks.

The app is available every day of the week from 8.00am until midnight.
