Food For London Now: Damien Hirst's heart of hope goes up across London

A new artwork from Damien Hirst supporting the Evening Standard’s Food For London Now appeal has been displayed in windows across the capital.

The artist created the rainbow heart design filled with butterflies, one of his motifs, to celebrate charities and individuals helping to feed vulnerable Londoners during the coronavirus crisis.

People cut out the work printed on the back page of yesterday’s edition, while others downloaded it from this website.

Elise Renard, seven, pictured top right with sister Josie, five, said she thought the heart “shows everyone should love each other and help everyone be happy and safe”.
