A delivery driver had his car stolen while dropping off a takeaway order in Woolton.
The victim, a 43-year-old man, was making a food delivery to a house on Halewood Road, at around 12.05 on Thursday, September 22. After he dropped off the food and was returning to his black Kia Niro, he was attacked from behind.
He then dropped his car keys and the suspect picked them up and stole his car, which also had his mobile phone inside. Police are now appealing for more information from members of the public, including a person driving a Black Mercedes who might have witnessed the incident.

The victim was not injured but was left very distressed by the incident, police said. Enquiries are ongoing, including examining CCTV and doorbell footage.
Detective Inspector Barbara Hebden said: "This was a very distressing incident for the victim who was working his shift to earn an honest living, and he was left very distressed. We are urge anyone who may have been in the vicinity and saw the incident, including any vehicles who may have captured the event on their dashcam to please contact us.
"We are especially appealing for the driver of a dark coloured Mercedes who may have witnessed the robbery as they drove past to please come forward so we can bring the offenders to justice.
