A food company has advertised for a "director of taste" who will get paid to tour the globe sampling exotic cuisine.
Vibrant Vegan Co. has just posted the application for the £50,000 a year dream job on its website.
The lucky candidate will get to discover ‘new’ and ‘unique’ ingredients while travelling to countries such as India, China, Turkey, Chile, Mexico and Japan.
Once in the countries the professional will be asked to explore, find and try new plant-based ingredients and then feedback their findings to Vibrant Vegan Co.
They will also be expected to set up overseas partnerships to source the new ingredients they find.
All expenses will be covered including travel, accommodation and food.
Hopeful candidate must be suitably qualified with at least three years’ experience in the food business or as chef.

Iain Burke-Hamilton, founder of Vibrant Vegan Co. said: “We are always on the hunt for new talent, because I’m a firm believer that it’s the people that make a successful company. However, I don’t think we’ve ever recruited for a job this exciting before.
"This is a very unique and rewarding job but despite its extensive perks we acknowledge it’s also very demanding.
“There are hundreds of ingredients and recipes across the world that haven’t been presented to the UK consumer, so we hope our new recruit will be able to inspire some new and tasty recipes for our vegan ready meal offering.
"I believe innovation is at the heart food, so I want someone with an innovative and creative mind to help us build on our current recipes.”
Despite the company being plant-based focused, the candidate will not be required to be vegan.

The chosen candidate will be required to complete an in-house taste test to see if their palette is ‘up to scratch’.
