Food Bites: Great Australian bites of the Hunter

Hungerford Hill kick-starts a fun-filled Australia Day weekend this Saturday, January 25, with a special Aussie-themed wine tasting and mini degustation.

Award-winning winemaker Bryan Currie will host a tasting of Hungerford Hill wines matched to five bite-sized Australian-inspired snacks from Muse Restaurant. Think Sydney rock oysters with finger lime and Hungerford Hill verjuice; Murray cod with macadamia, salt bush and paperbark; and kangaroo with wattleseed yoghurt, native pepperberry and radish. It's all happening from 11am to 1.30pm and tickets cost $60 at stickytickets.com.au. Tickets are strictly limited.
