Colin Owen's aim is to make life fun for dogs.
His day care centre looks after 50 pooches a day.
Staffed by eight full time workers and volunteers, it provides a safe and entertaining haven for them while their owners work.
Based on the Wardley Industrial Estate, on the Swinton and Worsley border, it has now been running for ten years.

The residents at Wags Doggy Day Care Centre are pampered and they even have their own ‘cinema’.
The audience vary in shape and size but never complain about what’s on screen. A huge television keeps pets enthralled with canine blockbusters like Marley and Me and Beethoven
But Colin and his staff are also looking out for dogs at an animal sanctuary by setting up a food bank for them.
"I live in Edenfield, near Ramsbottom, not far from Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary. I was out walking recently and bumped into some of their staff who were out walking dogs they are looking after.
"They told me how they were struggling to get enough food to feed their animals with the impact of COVID affecting donations to charities.
"So my staff have set up a foodbank to help them. We have have had donations of food, leads, and beds. We will deliver them to Bleakholt but plan to keep the bank going and perhaps give stuff to others animal charities too, that's the idea."
The idea for his business was imported from America.
He was inspired to launch the pet firm after visiting a similar one in New York.
The centre, which has 700 members, looks after dogs whose owners are busy at work.
Colin said: "About 70 per cent of our owners come from the Worsley, and Swinton, area. I just the dogs to be happy. I have been accused of being awkward by taking certain breeds - but I just want the dogs to be happy and if that means excluding aggressive types so be it. "
The days centre is run on "school" lines with "classes" of dogs.
The centre is in a 6,200 square feet building with room for the dogs to burn off energy negotiating see-saws, jumps, and wriggling through tunnels. It also has a training centre, puppy creche, and grooming salon.
