Foo Fighters sing 'Under Pressure' with two fans at show

The Foo Fighters have a tendency to draw on a little audience participation at their shows.

For their performed at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, the group decided to bring two fans join on stage for a rendition of Queen’s “Under Pressure”.

Mandi Duncan, 16, had apparently been waving a sign asking for a duet, with drummer Taylor Hawkins plucking her out of the crowd to ask: “You wanna sing ‘Under Pressure’ with me? Do you just want to come up here and hang out with us?”

According to Victoria Music Scene, Ms Duncan was joined by Foo Fighters super fan Roxanne Engli, who has already planned to attend the band’s other dates in Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver.

Ms Duncan posted a touching note about her experience on Instagram, writing: “A lot of people are aware (or maybe not) of my struggles with mental illness and have been very supportive of me throughout it all, but something that you may not know is how much Foo Fighters helped my younger self during the worst time of my life.”

"Essentially, I can sincerely say that without them I wouldn't be who I am today, in fact I wouldn't be here today. So getting to sing with the band that helped me save myself was such a dream come true, and I feel like it's a bit of closure to my dark past."
