If you happen to bump into Dave Grohl after their gig in Belfast tomorrow night, he might have a new favourite drink you can buy him.
After delivering their Bellahouston Park gig in Glasgow last night, rock royalty Dave Grohl was a man on a mission - and that mission was trying out Buckfast.
The moment was captured on video by Chloe Van Thomson, the guitarist and vocalist for Glasgow band The Van Ts, who supported the Foo Fighters.
After Chloe asked him what he thought of the tonic wine, he said "I wasn't going to say anything...but I wasn't going to leave the city without at least one bottle of this."
Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee will touch down in Belfast tomorrow ahead of their Belfast Vital gig.
They’ll be joined by Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Hot Milk at Boucher Road playing fields.
The band's 2018 live show was described by Rolling Stone as “explosive and euphoric… wild and combustible at the place where Grohl’s love for punk and classic rock coalesce into something raging and tuneful… a show of enthusiasm that has grown over decades”.
