Following sold out shows across the world, including a storming performance at Belfast's Ulster Hall in December, Fontaines D.C. have announced their return to the city.
The Dublin-based punk rock band will appear at Live At Botanic Gardens, in south Belfast, on 29 May.
Fontaines D.C. has been crowned as one of the most exciting live acts to emerge out of Ireland in recent years, receiving praise from the likes of BBC Radio 6's Steve Lamacq and a variety of media and music outlets, including The New York Times, NME and The Guardian.
Their long-awaited and highly-anticipated debut album, Dogrel, was released last April, garnering exceptional reviews locally and internationally.
Along with a run of sell out shows in Ireland and beyond, their highlights of 2019 also included a remarkable performance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, which you can watch below:
The band have been growing from strength to strength in just a short span of months, and Belfast audiences have certainly picked up on the hype.
Their December headline show at the Empire Music Hall sold out in rapid pace, and was then elevated to the Ulster Hall, where the band put on a blistering set in front of over one thousand music lovers.
Now, as the band lay the groundwork for their second album, they will be taking their live shows to an outdoor setting during the summer.
Fontaines D.C. will join the likes of Sinead O'Connor, SOAK and The National, all of whom are set to perform Live at Botanic Gardens shows this summer.
Tickets, which are priced at £36 on sale Friday, go on sale 31 January at 9AM.
