Laurie Hernandez - the 16-year-old from Morganville, New Jersey - is making a lot of noise in the world of gymnastics. Following her third place finish at the P&G championships last week in St Louis, Laurie is determined more than ever to impress and book a spot in the US team at the final Olympic trials in San Jose next week.
Laurie - a second-generation Puerto Rican - has the chance to become the first Latina artistic gymnast to represent the United States at the Olympic Games.
