Follow the Easter Bunny and see when it will be delivering your Easter eggs

For chocolate-loving children, Easter Saturday can be almost as slow-moving as Christmas Eve. Every second passing by is another step closer to the Easter Bunny delivering delicious treats - but for excited youngsters, the wait can feel pretty long.

But if your little one is eagerly counting down the minutes until the Easter Bunny arrives, there's now a way to keep them occupied and help them get through their Saturday. Families can now track the Easter Bunny's arrival online.

The Track Easter Bunny website and app follows the Easter Bunny's moves across the globe, as it delivers Easter Eggs to children around the world before reaching the UK. Similar to the NORAD tracker for Father Christmas on December 24, the website shows exactly where the Easter Bunny is currently, and where it has already been.

By midday today (April 16), the Easter Bunny had already completed its deliveries in New Zealand, according to the website. It still has a long way to go before it arrives in the UK, so the website could be ideal for any parents looking to reassure their eager children that the Easter Bunny won't be too much longer - as long as they go to sleep tonight, of course.

It's not just Easter Eggs that families in Greater Manchester can look forward to this year, but a whole host of treats that are perfect for Easter Sunday. It's not too late to pick up a delicious treat in time for the big day, so check out our guide to the incredible Easter treats on offer here.
