Live chat recap: Cavaliers complete historic comeback to win first NBA championship

For?the first time in 52 years, the?city of Cleveland is celebrating a championship.

The Cleveland Cavaliers?became the first team?in NBA history to bounce back from a 3-1 deficit and?win the NBA Finals, pulling out a 93-89 victory over the defending-champion Golden State Warriors in Game 7.

LeBron James, who was named Finals MVP for the third time in his career, had 27 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and three blocks to seal the?first title for the Cavs’ franchise. Kyrie Irving added 26 points, including the tiebreaking three-pointer with less than a minute to play.

Draymond Green had?32 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists and two steals for the Warriors, who led by four with 5:37 to go but were outscored 10-2 the rest of the way.
