Foden and Jesus to start - Team Man City fans want to see vs Borussia Dortmund in Champions League

Manchester City fans would make seven changes to the starting XI for Wednesday night's crucial match against Borussia Dortmund.

City's preparations for their quarter-final second leg were less than ideal as they fell to a shock 2-1 defeat to Leeds United, who had played with 10-men for more than half of the match, on Saturday.

The only silver-lining for Pep Guardiola is that several of his most important players sat out the match and will now be fresh to compete in Germany.

City are yet to reach the semi-finals of Europe's top competition with Guardiola in charge but have a great chance to finally do so as they hold a 2-1 advantage from last week's first leg.

The Blues boss will be hoping to avoid any repeats of recent heartbreaking eliminations at this stage to Tottenham and Lyon and is certain to recall many of his top stars.

City supporters are hoping he does just that with Ruben Dias returning to partner John Stones and Kyle Walker coming in at right-back. Fans have selected Joao Cancelo to play at left-back, despite his poor performance on Saturday, with Benjamin Mendy and Aleks Zinchenko missing out.

The fans want to see wholesale changes in the middle of the park with Zinchenko, Fernandinho and Bernardo Silva all making way for the reliable trio of Rodri, Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne.

Gabriel Jesus would be only the fourth player to survive the Leeds defeat - along with Ederson, Stones and Cancelo - if supporters get their way but Ferran Torres and Raheem Sterling wouldn't be so lucky. Instead Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez have been picked to man the flanks.

City team fans want to see vs Dortmund: Ederson; Walker, Stones, Dias, Cancelo; De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundogan; Mahrez, Jesus, Foden.
