Derby County boss Phillip Cocu says he hopes that this weekend’s clash against Nottingham Forest provides his side with a result that kick-starts their away form.
The Reds welcome their East Midland counterparts to the City Ground in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off in their next match in the Sky Bet Championship.
Four points and 10 league positions separate the two sides going into the derby clash, with both sides looking for all three points.
Forest currently occupy fifth place and are just five points behind leaders West Bromwich Albion with a game in hand.
Derby are down in 15th place and have won just one of their away matches so far this season, with the bulk of their points coming on home soil.
Cocu was made aware of this statistic, and admits that a win over Forest on Trentside would be a “great place” to get a result on the road.
“It would be a great place to get a result in an away game," Cocu told Rams TV .
“Our first focus was to get a win against Middlesbrough to prepare ourselves for this game.
“We knew it was an important game for us and the team, but now we know we have to get a result in an away game.
“It will be a tough match but a very good place to get a good result.”
