Football Manager 26 has had a decently successful release. Earlier today, it was announced that over 200,000 players have logged into the game daily during its beta period, which is more than double the player count in past betas. However, there has been no shortage of issues.
Among the complaints the game has received, there is the UI. Now, in most games, the UI doesn’t really matter that much as you’re mainly focused on the gameplay. But, in Football Manager 26, most of your time is spent in menus, whether it’s setting up tactics for your next match, scouting new talent, or micromanaging your staff. So, the UI does matter a lot, and it plays into the game’s experience.
Football Manager 26’s purple UI (and its responsiveness) has received backlash. And though it doesn’t address the larger list of issues, the team at Sort It Out has managed to recolor that UI with a more minimalist color scheme, and it looks marginally better.
How Does The Modded Skin Look

The default Football Manager 26 skin has a lot of purple. Every card, box, and dropdown has a purple gradient or backdrop. The Sort It Out team basically replaced that purple with a neutral gray. The skin still has purple, but it’s more of an accent color now.
They managed to do a great drop, cleaning up the skin and making it easier on the eyes. The menu looks much more like a game than a tech startup website. The menu looks significantly better and cleaner. With the extra amount of purple hue gone, the skin looks clean and minimalistic.
Sadly, you can’t download the skin yet — they are still working on that. Currently, it’s just a preview they’ve posted on their Instagram. But, from the looks of it, this could become a popular skin for the game upon release.
