Flying Tiger reduces EVERYTHING to £2 or less from today until Sunday

Time to scramble around for all that loose change - Flying Tiger are reducing everything to £2 or less from today until Sunday.

The discounts will start on Thursday and last all weekend, with prices slashed across all 90 of its UK stores.

More lines are set to be added every day.

The Danish variety chain is known for selling accessories, toys and everything else you didn’t think you needed – and now customers will be able to fill their boots for a fraction of the usual asking price.

A spokesperson for the intu Chapefield store said: “It is happening nationwide and everything in store will go down to £2 or less.

“It is something they do in Denmark and now we are trialling it as well and are expecting it to be popular.”

Flying Tiger first opened in Copenhagen in 1995 and now has around 1000 stores across Sweden, Norway, Japan, the US, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK.

According to the company’s founder, the company had about 29 million customers in 2014.

The store takes its name from how the Danish pronunciation of ‘tiger’ sounds similar to the Danish word tier, used to denote a 10 kroner coin. When the first stores opened in Denmark, all items cost 10 kroner.
