All your Afrofuturistic pop dreams have come true in the form of a new supergroup. Flying Lotus has teamed up with the further-out-than-far-out Seattle rappers Shabazz Palaces and bassist Thundercat to form a group. Oh, and their first song features George Clinton singing.

The group is called Woke, and they released their first track, The Lavishments of Light Looking, yesterday as part of the Adult Swim singles series. The schedule for the series had originally listed a Flying Lotus track for release on 28 September, but that was replaced without warning by Woke.

Have a listen and let us know what you think.
