Highland dancers taught some moves to the New Zealand Army Band as the two groups came together for an impromptu rehearsal for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

The Tattoo returns this year after a three-year break during the pandemic.

Over 800 performers from across the world will take part in this year’s show, Voices, which features traditional military acts.

The British Army is taking the lead, alongside musicians and dancers from Mexico, The United States, Switzerland, and New Zealand, who will keep crowds entertained on Edinburgh Castle Esplanade between August 5 and 27.
