Fly South: Glasgow's latest bar serving up classy cocktails in city's west end

Glasgow's latest addition to the food and drink scene is already turning heads.

The West End's Fly South opened in the last couple of weeks, serving up classy cocktails in what could turn out to be one of the city's most Instagrammable settings.

The new venture is one of a number in Glasgow from Dundee-based Macmerry 300, including The Bull on Great Western Road, The Luchador on Pollokshaws Road and Abandon Ship in the city centre, which is due to open in the coming weeks.

Fly South finds home just off Woodlands Road on Lyndoch Street, in a character-filled period property above The Drake, and is described as 'a wall to wall celebration of distilled spirits featuring cabinet makers craftsmanship floor to ceiling housing a vast array of unique libations. A delicate and decadent experience throughout.'

The beautiful new bar boasts over 700 unique drinks alongside their bespoke cocktails and has already been a huge hit with those lucky enough to have visited since its arrival.
