Flurry of Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra leaks reveal a rounder, thinner flagship phone

Galaxy S25 Ultra cameras.

Over the weekend and heading into regular Samsung tipster Ice Universe released a flurry of Galaxy S26 Ultra leaks that revealed several aspects of the next year's flagship. It's not everything, but it paints a pretty picture.

We already took a look at the rounder and wider design, but Ice Universe had a lot more. These included a seeming confirmation of an S Pen, camera details, and a slightly skinnier phone.

Here's a rundown of everything Ice Universe claims is coming to the S26 Ultra.

Rounder, Wider and Thinner

Based on CAD renderings, Ice Universe claims that the S26 Ultra will be much rounder than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which had already strayed away from the sharp corners of the S24 Ultra.

As mentioned, it's also supposedly slightly wider at 77.9mm compared to 77.6mm.

In another post, they claimed that the phone will be 7.9mm thick while comparing it to the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is supposed to be 8.725mm. It's one of the first times we've seen any dimensional numbers for Apple's flagship phone, which launches during the company's Awe-dropping event this week.

The S25 Ultra, for comparison, measures in at .32-inches or 8.1mm.

Lastly, one of the happier rumors for fans of styluses, apparently, the CAD renders Ice Universe has revealed that the S26 Ultra retains the S Pen. A nice contradiction to previous rumors that Samsung would ditch the stylus.

Bezel width

One thing that Ice Universe highlighted as a flaw is a similar-sized bezel around the display on the S26 Ultra compared to its predecessor. They seem to believe that the Xiaomi 16 Pro will get more sales because it reduces the width of the bezel.

They even argued with commenters about the bezel width. It's a strange hill, but they're dying on it.

So, do you care about bezel width?

Slightly upgraded cameras

Finally, Ice Universe revealed some specs for the cameras. They're slight but should lead to improvements in image quality.

The main camera gets an aperture bump from F1.7 to F1.4, which will allow the lens to take in more light, so low-light images should be improved.

From there, the two telephoto lenses are seeing some bumps. The 3x 10MP one goes to 12MP, while the 50MP 5x versions get a bit larger aperture from F3.4 to F2.9.

These aren't humongous leaps, but across the board, it does seem your photos will be better next year.

The same battery

For those who keep hoping that Samsung might increase the battery, Ice Universe made a meme post that implied we'd get the same 5,000 mAh that the company has used for years.

Unfortunately, that lines up with previous rumors from other leakers that indicated that if Samsung installs a larger battery, it won't be much more than 5,400mAh.

However, it's possible Samsung could squeeze more life out of the battery thanks to improved software optimization and a better Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip.
