Floyd Mayweather vs Tenshin Nasukawa result: American destroys kickboxer in round one

Floyd Mayweather needed little more than 120 seconds to beat kickboxing star Tenshin Nasukawa in their exhibition match in Tokyo on Monday.

Mayweather, 41, a former five-weight world champion who retired from boxing with a perfect professional record of 50-0 last year, saw off an opponent 21 years his junior.

The American stands to earn a reported $9million from two minutes and 19 seconds in the ring after Nasukawa was struck to the canvas three times, prompting his corner to throw in the towel.

Nasukawa threw plenty of punches but his power was no match for Mayweather, who was in no mood to give the crowd their money's worth and ripped through his opponent from the first bell.

A devastated Nasukawa was in tears in his corner as Mayweather addressed the Tokyo crowd.

"I want to say thank you to Tenshin. This don’t go on our record," the American fighter said before dismissing speculation surrounding a return to professional boxing.

"We are both still undefeated. He is a great champion and a great fighter. I am still retired, I don’t look to come back to boxing.

"I came back for entertainment for the people of Japan."

Mayweather handed the trophy to his defeated opponent in a show of class after the bout.
