Floyd Mayweather could not beat YouTube sensation Logan Paul in a huge exhibition fight at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday night.
The legendary undefeated former five-weight world champion - now 44 - dominated the lucrative bout in Florida, but was unable to secure the knockout or stoppage that would have confirmed victory.
Per the official rules of the exhibition, no result was declared as a consequence of the fight going the full distance.
Lasting eight rounds against one of boxing’s greatest modern fighters is a huge achievement for Paul and will no doubt be used as a riposte to those critics of the involvement of YouTubers and celebrities in professional boxing.
Elsewhere on Sunday’s main card, Badou Jack beat the hopelessly overmatched Dervin Colina and Jarrett Hurd was stunned by Luis Arias, while former NFL star Chad Johnson recovered from a late knockdown to last the distance in his own exhibition fight against Brian Maxwell.
