Tributes have been left at the scene of a tragic crash that killed a man in his 20s.
A bouquet of flowers is the first memorial to the motorcyclist, who died after a collision between his bike and a car.
Merseyside Police is appealing for witnesses to the crash and anyone with information that could help the force’s investigation.

Emergency services were called to a report of a crash in the Heswall area at 10.15am on Monday.
The incident involved a red Honda motorbike and a silver Toyota Auris and took place at the junction of Chester Road and Gayton Lane.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital but has since died as a result of his injuries.
His next of kin have been informed and flowers have been laid in tribute to him close to the scene of the crash.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital with what police described as “minor injuries”.
He is said to be helping officers with their enquiries.
Signs urging passing drivers to contact the police if they saw the collision have been attached to lampposts in the surrounding area.
