A single bouquet of flowers marks the spot where a teenage girl lost her life after a car crashed into a wall in County Durham.
The 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision, which happened on Potterhouse Lane, in Pity Me, Durham, on Saturday evening.
Emergency services were called to the incident at around 6.20pm after a silver Ford Fiesta had collided with a wall.

But nothing could be done to save the teenager, who was a rear passenger in the car.
Durham Constabulary said her family has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A floral tribute has now been left tied to a post for the 18-year-old at the scene of the fatal crash.
The driver - an 18-year-old man - and two passengers - an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl - were all taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police have launched an investigation and are are now appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward.
A Durham Constabulary spokesman said: "Police are keen to speak to any witnesses who were in the area at the time, or anyone who may have any dashcam footage of the vehicle prior to the collision.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Durham Roads Policing Unit on 01325 742705, quoting incident number 336 of August 28."
