Flowers and tributes grow to cyclist killed in Clifton collision last week

Flowers and candles have been left in memory of a cyclist who lost her life in a crash in Clifton.

Tributes have been gathering since the tragic death of the woman in her 20s last Wednesday (September 22).

Candles, bunches of flowers, and handwritten tributes have been left under a sign on the road where she the young woman was involved in a fatal collision with a lorry.

The woman’s next of kin were informed, and are being assisted by a specialist Family Liaison Officer.

Floral tributes have been growing under the Elmdale Road sign since the crash last Wednesday.

The scene of the collision is close to the University of Bristol and Bristol Grammar School.

Elmdale Road and surrounding streets were closed for the majority of the day, with Tyndall’s Park Road completely closed between Whiteladies and Woodland Road while police investigators worked at the scene.

A written tribute left to Becca (Bristol Live)

The woman has not yet been named publicly, although the tributes have been addressed to Becca.
