Florist launches ‘self-partnered’ bouquet collection for singles

When Emma Watson described herself as ‘self-partnered’ last year, it was a new buzz word that reverberated around the world.

Now, florist Interflora has launched a new ‘self-partnered’ bouquet collection to cash in on the rise in Brits choosing to stay single.

Singleton’s can ‘surprise’ themselves with a bouquet (each for a cool £47) by visiting the Interflora website and completing a short questionnaire. They will then be matched to one of the five bouquets that make up the new collection.

The five bouquets include:

  • The Self-Love Queen: inspired by Lizzo, it’s filled with pink lilies and roses.
  • The Bold Beauty: inspired by Emma Watson, it’s dotted with classic ivory roses and white lilies.
  • The Dreamer: inspired by Ariana Grande, a mix of pink roses, white lilies and lisianthus.
  • The Fierce Independent: inspired by Selena Gomez, with pink, violet and peach-hued roses.
  • (All) The Sass: inspired by Rihanna, freesias are coupled with blue irises and subtle white lilies.

Interflora’s bouquet design manager, Vicky Wilson, said in a statement: “We want to empower singles to treat themselves. Just because you’re not in a relationship, doesn’t mean certain experiences should be off limits. That includes receiving a beautiful bouquet of mood-boosting flowers.

"Our new self-partnered collection is perfect for those who believe that the most important relationship is the one we have with ourselves.”
