GAINESVILLE, Fla. _ The Florida Gators continued to add to their long-range non-conference schedule Friday, announcing a home-and-home series with Texas in 2030 and 2031.
The Gators will host the Longhorns in Gainesville on Sept. 7, 2030, and travel to Austin for a Sept. 6, 2031 meeting.
Earlier this week, UF announced a home-and-home series with Colorado for the 2028 and 2029 seasons.
UF and Texas first met in football on Oct. 25, 1924, when the schools played to a 7-7 tie. The Longhorns won the other two matchups between the schools, prevailing 12-0 in 1939 and 26-0 in 1940.
